So I dropped my ipod, and well the screen is in PERFECT condition. Nothing will show up though like when I plug it into a computer it doesnt show the screen or anything but the computer will sync it still.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem. The appointment is free.

1. I dont think you have seen my first post, the screen doesnt show anything. Ive held them down for like 5 mintues and nothing happens.

Are the only troubleshooting things apple provides is "reset" and genius bar? Im pretty sure the genius bar doesnt actually do anything like opening your device.
