Got notification lost iPod locked this morning when thief tried to go online, but shows offline on Find my IPod. How do I find it?

You can't track it:

1. If iPod is off

2. If iPod is wiped

It will stay locked unless the "finder" can crack the passcode.

It is good that you have changed the password. Once wiped, you should be free of any security risk.

You posted in the iPad forum instead of the iPod forum. To get answers to your question, next time post in the proper forum. See https://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa I'll request that Apple relocate your post.

Some of this is applicable to iPods.

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
