Slow laptop
my 15" laptop has been very , very slow the last few weeks. any help would be welcome.

I would try some general troubleshooting. I can post instructions, however I would need to know the version of your OS first.

How much RAM do you have installed...
It would help us to know which computer model you have, which OS you're using, how much RAM, etc.

It is Important to get the Correct and Matching RAM
For best performance, fill all memory slots, installing an equal memory module in each slot.
That site also has videos on how to Install RAM should you need it...
