can't block over 18 sites from my sons iPad. Help please.

I have tried to restrict my sons iPad so that he is unable to visit over 18 websites using the 'Restrictions' section in 'Settings' but it has been unsuccessful. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice please?

Look for a parental control browser, McGruff is one I see recommended but I'm sure there are others. Use restrictions to lock out safari, leaving the controlled one the only browser. You'll also need to use restrictions to lock out the installation of new programs, or your son can just download an open browser and use that to access the sites you restrict him from.

There are also programs you can get that block such sites at your router level...as in it locks them out for everyone on your home network.
