What do I do when airport has blue light?

After power outage, my airport extreme now has a blue light instead of green or yellow. Can't seem to get it re-connected. Suggestions?

Suggest that you perform a Factory Default Reset on the AirPort Extreme.

Pull the power cord from the back of the AiPort Extreme

Wait a few minutes

Hold in the reset button on the back of the AirPort Extreme first, and continue to hold the reset button in for an additional 9-10 seconds while you simultaneously plug the power back in to the AirPort Extreme

Release the reset button after the hold period and allow a full minute for the AirPort Extreme to restart

At this point, the AirPort Extreme's light should be blinking amber slowly, indicating that it has been reset corrrectly and now can be reconfigured again.

Might be a good idea use a surge protector / power strip with the AirPort Extreme to help protect from future power surges and/or outages.
