Photo recovery help

If I used my nephews computer to hook up iPad it deleted my stuff and downloaded all content from his iPad on my iPad. Is there a way to retrieve my photos and other content.

A lot depends on where you store your media files and where you have the iPad set to backup to. Only photos store in the Camera Roll are store in the iOS back up file along with app data. You will have to either connect the iPad to the computer you set it up with then Restore it with iTunes which will return it to the way it was at the last backup. If apps are in iTunes they will be installed or redownloaded. Photos stored in Camera Roll will be restored and any you synced through iTunes will return as well as long as they are still stored on the computer.

If you back up to iCloud you'll have to enter Settings/General and use the "Erase All Content and Settings" option. When the iPad restarts the setup assistant will prompt you to restore with a back up and your Apple ID. This will get your Camera Roll photos apps and their data back. Music, videos and photos synced from a computer will still have to be copied back from the computer you sync with.
