Ctrl Click on MAC using Windows mouse.

In windows when you need to select individual files you hold down the CTRL key and click them. I don't seem to be able to do this on my Mac Mini.
I am using a two button mouse with Firefox.

Any ideas how I can do this?

Using the Command (Apple) key will have the same effect as Shift. Moreover, if the files you want to select individually aren't arranged as icons, Shift-clicking will highlight all the files in between, so you will have to use Command instead.

Hi POS,

thanks for your answer.

When you hold down the SHIFT key it selects all files between the first one you click and the last one. What I am trying to do is select individual files not all of them. CTRL click on the PC is how you would do this i e highlight a file, hold down ctrl, go to another file and click, this then highlights.
Any action you then perform is just on these 2 files.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks
