DVD upload ipad?
Hi, I have ipad with retina and wondered if able to upload some of my DVD films onto it as going on hol and long flight, any ideas?

If they are non-commercial dvd's, Handbrake is an excellent converter. If they're commercial dvd's, then getting them to the MP4 format requires that you break the CSS encryption, which is against the forum rules to discuss, so no one can help you with that part of it. You can find that info elsewhere.
It does take time to convert formats, so if time is short or your patience with tech stuff is short, you may be better served to find digital files of your movies, some have them on the dvds, others can be acquired via iTunes. You just have to make sure they're downloaded files, not streaming ones, since the streaming files require net access.
