Ipod touch has started a back up here is a screen shot.

but has not moved in 3 and a half hours. not even an inch.


here is where it is stuck at. the computer is running at 100 percent but it was doing that. when doing the sink.

Could it be an old cable I has so many cables for ipods at my house dont know what one is witch how long should itusualy take.

my last backup was at 10 oct 12

I wanted to create a back up becase both home and lock screen power button not working jamed i dont really want to go to the genious bar 2 times in one week

HHow long would you wait before trying again.

Both devices have the spinnig icon going..

Please help

I want to try on another computer but dont really have access to one any ideas anyone

but when i did the sync the compter was still running at 100 percent and am using the same cable as when i did the sync

Terminate the process, disconnect the iPod and reboot the computer. Then try agan. If necessary:

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
