How much time does it take for Apple, to unlock my iPhone 4s?

Hi!
I was at my Carrier( Vodafone) and requested an unlocke for my iPhone 4s on 2013.04.09.After 2days i went back and checked it at their system and everything went fine and they closed the case at their end and sad to my its on Apple now.
How much time does it take for Apple to do the request?Its 04.16. now and a phone is still locked..
I tried some of the IMEI status checkers but non of them gave me correct information about the phont("Not Available" or "Unknown")
If anybody knows a good idea please tell me.
(I'm trying the unlock sync via iTunes,but it allways gives me the "not supported sim card" message).

The truth is that i was really happy about the unlock,but now im having trouble again,maybe with my sim card.. i can connect to my Carrier and i have Edge on and it works, but when i try to switch 3g on, it disconnects from the Carrier and i loose all the signal and then no service...
and the other thing is sometimes i cant make calls, call failed and my friends said that they cant call me either sometimes...
Somebody told me that a sim card isnt enough big( data size) and i need a 128kb one... do you think it can be true?

Sadly that is rubbish

Iphones do not use the sim other than for carrier identification and linking

There is no data stored on the iPhone sim

is the carrier Apple Approved ?
