I use Logic Pro 9. The lead vocal of my song is only coming out of the right speaker, while the backups are only coming out of the left speaker. I checked the pans and they are set to zero. Yet, it is still playing back this way. I tried panning opposite ways to balance out, but the vocals just fade and eventually are muted. Can someone help Please?

Are the Outputs of the tracks set to Stereo or Outputs 1-2 ?
What plugins are being used on the tracks?
Are you recording a mono signal to only one side of a stereo track? If so, change the "stereo/mono" (figure 8) at the bottom of the channel strip and it will go to center. Then pan at will.
