itunes store down

Yep - I think it's for everyone (thank goodness). I did some googling and if it's isolated, it looks like a pain to fix!

No, the iTunes store is NOT down. Not in the U.S. Midwest amyway.

Oddd that. It just came back up for me. (I haven't rebooted, changed network connections or anything)

Hopefully everyone else is experiencing the same thing.

I am getting the cannot connect to the iTunes Store when I try to log in. Oddly enough, I can download from iTunes on my iPhone4.

same for me. trying to login and it says cannot connect (-50)

tried on my pc and mac on my home network both wired and wireless

and yes me too regarding iphone 4s

i was able to redeem the digital copy code on my phone just fine. however trying to log in via the regular store to redeem it gave me that error

The iTunes Store has has been down for me in Ohio since at least 8:00 p.m. It's still down at 9:45 p.m.

The App Store on OS X is working fine. I'm downloading a few updates as I speak.

Other iTunes.app Internet connections are working. Podcasts, for example, are downloading fine. It's just the iTunes Store.

I was on with Apple support and the guy had no clue what was going on in relation to the outage. He had said he worked with someone over 1 hour with these same errors. I am having the same problem.

Actually, it's sporadic now. Clicking on the iTunes store just now brought up the store. But trying to add new tracks to iCloud still generated an error. And trying to download a Purchased iPad app generates two errors (cannot connect and -50).

Getting this also. I have heard it's regional, but I connected from home (Central Florida) and from our two data centers (San Diego and Wyoming) and couldn't get it to work with any of the them.

I'm definitely having this problem, in Massachusetts. Anyone else still having this issue?

Yes same for me here in Oklahoma I'm getting the -50 error, the store loads fine but it will not let me sign into my Apple ID,

also obviously iTunes Match is subsequently down as well. Very annoying I had work to do with my music tonight!

Same problem here in Kansas...it's 10:30....when are they going to fix this?
