itunes store down

itunes is down like a clown Charlie Brown and apple hates Tuesdays.

Its 11:50 here in indiana and ive been messing with all these quick fixes for about an hour and an half. Nothing has worked im still getting; We could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occured (-50) and We could not complete your itunes store request. The network connection could not be established.

I think it's obvious that they're having a major problem with the system. I'm giving up until tomorrow morning.

having the same issue in new jersey - it's 5 to midnight. tried to download an app and it said i couldn't connect to the store. went on the laptop to see if i could download from the computer and then sync, and i got the -50 error. logged out with the intention of logging back in and it wouldn't let me do so. hoping this is fixed asap.

Oddly enough I could login and buy stuff using my iPhone, but yeah, trying to login in any way to the iTunes Store from both my Mac and my Windows PC failed.
