Warcraft III Won't Install Properly

Hey again,

I'm trying to install WC III And frozen throne but Warcraft III won't install properly. What happens is when I install the game the installer runs and finishes (Says it's complete). But the WC3 Icon stays as a blank page. When i open the game it goes to a black screen and quits automaticly. The CD also doesn't pick up that WC3 is installed because it says "Install Warcraft III " on the splash screen. instead of "Play Warcraft III". I have treid reinstalling twice (once after restart and both times no other programs where open). So i'm wondering if anyone's experience this problem before? Will WCIII run on intel minis?

PS: The game installs/runs fine on my PC.

Mac Mini Intel Core Solo, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I had find my disk, one of these days I will remember to put the disk back when I'm done with it. 😀

Anyways, I got the same thing as you. Bank sortcut on the desktop that didn't work. However when I went into the Apps folder then into the Warcraft III folder I was able to lunch the game fine.

(before I get flamed for this, I'm only pointed out that I haven't seen it.) I haven't seen a Mac game know the game was installed on the splash screen, like windows.

I hope this helps.... 😀
