After receiving the above response, an additional error is displayed. We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later. I've received these responses for the past 3 hours. I'm also getting an error on my iPhone (Cannot connect to iTunes Store). Does anyone know what to do to resolve this issue? Thanks.

i had peerblock running...i realized that any program, in my case peerblock, that is blocking http connections and/or certain firewall restrictions may prevent the istore from working. after disabling peerblock it worked just fine.hope this helps!

I too am experiencing the very same and am comforted to know I am not alone. I'm getting consecutive error messages on my iMac, OS X 10.8.3.

Unfortunately, I did the software upgrade on my Ipod and my Ipad and up until then everything worked just fine. I've tried all the suggestions posted and nothing fixes it. Any other ideas out there? I'm going to guess that there's a bug in the upgrade? Everything worked just fine before on the devices, and oddly now, I can't even access from the PC... Not impressed.
