Hello, I have a Macbook 4.1 (white unibody style) it is runnimg Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I am wanting to wipe my computer clean and do a fresh install and am really not sure how to go about doing this. Any suggestions?

Insert a compatible Mac OS X install DVD, start it up with the C key held down, open the Disk Utility, erase the internal drive, and install a new OS onto it.

Ok and what if I dont have an install disk and I would like to install from usb?
If the USB drive contains an installer, the procedure's the same as above, except that it involves pressing Option at startup and clicking on the USB drive. If not, you can't perform a reinstallation.
