Why did my Bose Docking Station stop playing my iPod Touch?

Yesterday my iPods both Touch and the oldMy Bose Docking Station won't play my iPod Touch and the much older version with the click wheel both played when placed my my Bose Docking Station. Today neither one will play. Any ideas?

- Try resetting the Bose dock

- Inspect the dock connectors on the iPod and the dock for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset the Classic. I do not know how to do that.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
