If imac Mountain Lion is so good at preventing antivirus and malware, why am I getting scam emails, ones that are telling me that a problem has been detected and that I should click a link to solve the problem? I never used to get these sort of emails when I had my Windows computer with antivirus and anti maware software installed.

Most ISP's have an email address for reporting abuses of their service - it is usually of the form abuse@xxxxx.com where xxxxx.com is the ISP.
Hello Templeton. Yes I know but I presumed it was my antimalware doing the job. In other words deleting any supect emails but I gather from the above posts that they would have appeared in the junk folder in that case.
Bee, yes, I sent a copy to their fraud department.
