How do I get a copy of the iOS background photo since I lost the original?

I took a very nice photo and set it as my background photo for my iPod Touch 4th generation currently running iOS 6.0.1 and unfortunately I lost the original image file and there is no way I could find it, and I was wondering if there was anyway I could retrieve it from my iPod since it is still set as the background?
