Can I use Viber on my iPad?

Is further clarification, I do not use Viber for phone calls. I only use it for messaging. So all of my comments refer to this type of use.

One of the main features of Viber is the cross platform syncing of instant messaging. This cannot be accomplished unless all accounts on all devices are linked by the same ID.

I installed viber on my iPad 4. However, I can't activate it. I seriously need to know how to activate it. The iPad has a number but of course the code can't be sent on it. Any advice?

You need to send Viber a phone number during the setup so that they can SMS you the activation code.
