Ipod Touch 4G Home Button Stuck

I have a 8 GB 4th Generation Ipod Touch. I bought it between June and July of 2012. I had never had problems with it until about a week ago. It was a

normal day, I was using it when I noticed I had to put greater force to my finger to press the home button. I thought it would go away, so I went on, (it was working) At night, I was using it again, and it was hard to press , so I pressed fairly hard, and the button felt numb. It was like stuck inside. What can I do?

You iPod shuld still be within the one-year Apple warranty. Thuse, I would make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.

- If you have iOS 5 and later you can turn on Assistive Touch it add the Home and other buttons to the iPods screen. Settings>General>Accessibility>Assistive Touch

- If not under warranty Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for:

You can do it an an Apple store by:

or sent it in to Apple. See:

- There are third-party places like the following that will repair the Home button. Google for more.
