Desktop folder disappeared.

How could this happen? It did not go in the trash. The folder and it's contents are just gone.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

See if you can find the file(s) using one of these programs. If you go Finder/View/Show Path Bar, it will show you where it is located.

Hi,

It happened to me also - files disappearing.

I think it's malware. Or macbook destroying himself...

As a friend of mine says: Make Macbook great again!!!
