I have no sound on my IPad

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been struggling with this for a year. I've looked up fixes for this so many times I can't count and tried them all. This is the first time something worked. It was changing the language to French then back to English that worked for me. Good work Beroval 🙂

I have tried everything I know how to get my speakers to work since the upgrade 7.03 no luck. I have an iPad 3. Now I know these units don't last forever but is much as we pay for them they should've lasted through the upgrade . This is so frustrating . This sound does work if I use external speaker or a headphone , I believe those speakers should be working without all of this hassle . If there is as many people having problems as I have seen online, Apple should take care of this I am thinking . It is so aggravating when I have talkEd to Apple they only suggestion that they had was to buy another iPad . My iPad was not that old when the problem first occurred.

Well I have really tried it all.....nothing....I just tried your solution after doing a total reset - erasing content and data. I am so frustrated!! Help before my kid goes even more crazy! lol 😢

i just changed the language from spanish to english and it came back to normal, the sound, the volume bar on the menu.

I still have problems with no sound or distorted sound perhaps twice a week but a reboot sorts it.

Unfortunately my iPad2 is out of guarantee.

This should be posted on all the forum chats regarding no sound! Don't know how this happened but the slider was pushed over and never even knew it existed! Did the trick. Thx a million.
