Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Received 2 appointments, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to “Subject” in account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. It's a bug!

Received 2 appointments from a customer, same date, same content, just different hours. Since then I receive message from iCal: Access to “Subject” in account “iCloud” is not permitted. The server responded "403" to CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation. In my opinion this is a bug, because iCloud is not able to handle 2 appointments at the same date with same content, just at different hours. The different hours should be enough individuality for each event on calendar.

This didn't solve my problem and I still have the problem, because this customer send me again messages, facing again the error message.

I realize also which seems to be the problem.

My customer use Lotus Notes and just the changed appointments have different syntax, which the iCal server doesn't accept.

I tried to import those appointments in Outlook for Mac and Outlook have no problems with this appointments. Just iCal.

What helped you doesn't help me, and even if this could be the wokarround, this is not an accapetable solution, always signing in and out when receiving changed appointments from Lotus Notes server.

In my opinion the other solutions refer to same standard just iCal not. But we are not living on a island with Apple products.

Thanks for the smile. I supose I need a truck full. I feel already handicapped.

Yes, my customer is using Domino and so far I understood him they also introduce IBM Lotus Quickplace/Quickr (first time I hear about) as Collaboration suite, which include some Domino agents and administration tools for the Domino databases. This was for migration reasons on one hand and the collaborations issues could be further integrated and supported in the future infrastrcuture.

Still it's not understable for me why it's not possible to adjust the syntax for a such tiny application like calendar. If IBM don't move, it's no reason for all others to do the same. This is not mikado (the game with the pick-up sticks - who move, have lost). This can't be a such big deal?!

Outlook for Mac can handle the invitations. Why not this modern, fantastic, visionary and handy iCal?! Maybe some of the mentioned attributes are missing in the base of the tool.
