My phone wont charge AT ALL.

My phone is less then a year old. It is a 4s. today i tried to charge my phone in a wall outlet and it wouldnt work. so i tried my computer, and same thing, i tried with 3 different cords and 2 different chargers. Please help! I need to be able to have full charge for work and school!

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.0.1, Charging

You are coming across as very rude. I thank you for your help however. The reason why is because I got the phone in September as a replacement for my cracked iPhone 4. I'm afraid that I do not have a warranty on it because I can't find the paperwork. I'm just upset and frustrated and if I have no other way to combat this problem ill just have to give in and drive the 100+ miles to the nearest apple store. I would like to know, 1. would they give me a brand new replacement? As 2. Will they transfer everything from this phone to the new one at the store?

If it is in warranty they will replace it free with either a new or refurbished phone. There is no way to know which, and by looking at it you won't know whether it is new or refurb.


If it is out of warranty the replacement will cost $199. You can probably find someone to repair it for a little less, but there are no standards or certifications for non-Apple repair shops, so you are taking a chance.


They will not transfer your content; you will have to take it home and do it on the same computer you synced the old one too (just be sure to sync and back up before going).


If traveling is a hardship you can also call Apple and arrange a replacement by UPS or FedEx.
