iPad 2 won't lock, button or assistive touch

Hello,

My iPad 2 does not want to lock. This is not a hardware problem because if I keep the sleep/wake button pressed I am propted to "Swipe to power off". If I enable assistive touch and select "Lock Screen" nothing happens. I have restored it 3-4 times know it is running iOS 6.1.3 not jailbroken. I have not been able to find my solution anywhere. I am just really confused because it worked before I updated.

Same issue here too. No recent software updates. This appeared after a hard reboot for me. After a lock + home button reboot. Older iPad 2. Lock button works to turn off. Lock button works to take screenshot. Lock button does not work for locking screen. Assistive Touch lock button behaves exactly like hardware button. Assistive touch lock button does not lock screen.

I have the same problem, I got the latest version of the Ipad Mini 2. The "LOCK" is the only problem in here. Turning off and taking screen shoots using the locked button is still functioning but the only problem is, it won't lock except waiting 2 minutes until the screen shut off. We really need a solution with this problem, APPLE service please reply to your customers.😢
