My macbook can't find home wifi

My macbook air can't find the home wifi. It can, however, find the neighbours' wifis. The home wifi is working fine with my other laptop and iphone so the wlan router is working.

I can't add the network by manually entering its name (says "no network found")

This happened suddenly without any changes to my computer or the wifi settings.

My computer is a 1-year old macbook air. I haven't found any threads with a real, working solution for this issue so any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.

Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.

Restart the computer.

Still having problems which means my Mac is a complete pain to use - any ideas as to what I do now? It's warranty expired in July (which was after I started having these problems), and I suspect if I go into the Apple Store they won't be particularly sympathetic. What are the chances that Apple will resolve this in a future update. They have effectively ruined my experience by releasing an update.

Thanks. It works on my macbook. I kinda gave up honestly with my macbook wifi problem. 3months ago i couldnt connect it with any wifi not only home or specific wifi and i needed to bring it to apple store which cost me 200usd and waited couple days. Once this problem happened i was thinking how much money should i pay again regarding to almost same problem.

The computer I am using right now and all my devices and an other laptop are connected to internet, but not the my MacBook air. I did reset my modem knowing it was already working on all other devices, but it didn't do anything.
