Mine crashes upon startup - unless I disconnect the connection to the internet.

Tried:

1. Deleting myplaces files

2. Moving all the internet plugins to a separate folder and restarting (didn't work, so I moved them back)

3. Re-installing the GE program.

4. Installed it on an older mac downstairs, and it works just fine (and yes, I can use this mac, but it is not my main one, it is much older, and darn it, I want it to work!!!)

OS X 10.8.4

Mac - 3.4 GHz i7 w/ 32 GB of RAM.... ain't nothing wrong with this machine! 🙂

Here is an interesting thing. If I am off the net (WiFi disconnected,) Start google earth THEN connect, I stay connected. Then, if I try to do a search, Bam, I am kicked out again.

Very odd, very frustrating. I wonder if anyone has any help???

Deleting the move-media plugin works! Google Earth Search works again. Thank you very much!! I spent six hours trying two dozen things suggested on the MAC and Google forums. None of them worked and some of them took alot of work just to try out. This one works immediately and takes about one minute!! THANK YOU!!!!!!! I hope you post this fix on Google too because it isn't there.
