regarding the fan noise

Hello. I purchased my MacBook Air 13" on December 2012 and I take extremely good care of it. However, recently it has been making a "fan noise" which it did not do before. It has done it three times already. Two of them when I was watching videos online, which I thought could be the cause but today it did it again while I was working on a Word document and listening to music on iTunes. I wan to know if I should take it to the Mac store to see if they can fix the noise, since it is getting very annoying.

If the fans are running loud, you are probably just running too many things at once, making the CPU work too hard, and the fans have to work overtime to prevent it from overheating. Open the Activity Monitor utility (do a search on your system for it if you don't know where it is), and see how the CPU usage looks next time this happens.
