have you tried everything here? http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368
simply noone can connect today i guess, tried from usa and uk appstores.. maybe its closed for temp maintenance.. can't download anything from appstore
edit1: whoooho ! i set time manually to year forward, then set "automatically", maybe that helped, but i also used "reset all settings" (be careful with that), and finally everything ok!
I just upgraded to an iPhone 5 and I restored my phone from my computer. I was going to update my apps and I couldn't connect to the App Store. I tried signing out and signing back in but it wouldn't let me sign in again. I also tried setting the date a year ahead and signing in then set it back to automatically and tried signing in with no luck. I would like to be able to access the App Store but everything I've tried has failed. Is there some way this issue can be resolved?
Also A good number of apps that I had on my iPhone 4 were missing after I restored my iPhone 5. I backed up my iPhone 4 on my computer before I got the iPhone and I know those apps were backed up but they didn't get restored.
I guess it's really the Apple server problem at this time. I cannot connect with both my iphone & ipad. Went to check other thread regarding these issues and everybody has the same problem
I checked http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368 and met all the requirements, so it must be a problem on apple's end.
Try this. http://ipadinsight.com/ipad-tips-tricks/best-fixes-for-cannot-connect-to-itunes- store-errors/
The first one works for me. Make sure you delete the entire thing and type in 8.8.8.8 instead.
check the time and date. go to setting-general-Date & Time then turn set automatically on for a miniute if its off. then turn it back off if u would like. then try again. thats what i did and it worked.
Hope this helped someone
The basic turn-off-and-back-on actually works here, or at least it did for me. Always a good starting place.
