Windows Remote Desktop connection installed itself

I have recently discovered two new programs in my dock: windows Remote Desktop connection and Microsoft document connection. I have never installed these products. I am the only person with access to my MacBook. Has anyone else ever come across this problem or have any ideas if there is other software that will install these two programs independently? It's quite worrying!

That's odd. Those are actually standard applications that are part of Office 2011. Perhaps a recent update put them back? They usually do show up in the dock after installing Office 2011. That's one thing I hate about installing that... half my dock is full of Microsoft stuff. I always just remove them from the dock. It would be an odd coincidence for standard Office applications to show up in your dock only a month or so after you installed Office.
