Hi, I just noticed my iPad mini has a giant but subtle crack running through the front of it. I was wondering how much it costs to get it replaced at apple. (I know I could always go to one of those third party dealers but I want it to be a certified apple made screen for my certified apple made product.) So, if anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!!

Also, Apple does not repair iPads. They will replace it in both cases with a equivalent refurbished iPad mini.
For what it's worth, I unfortunately had to do this with my older iPad 2 after my daughter broke the screen. I noticed sigificantly better batery life after the exchange.
If the screen is cracked it is highly unlikely it was spontaneous so that leaves accidental damage. AppleCare does not cover accidental damage. Also, since is is a mini it is within the warranty period.
If they purchased AppleCare + then they can replace it for a $49 deductible for two instances of accidental damage.
My mistake deggie. I did mean Applecare + and I had forgotten about the deductable.
