Can i trade in my black Lifeproof iPhone 4 case, for a pink Lifeproof case?

My iPhone 4 was dropped by my little sister, destroying my whole screen, so i just yesterday ordered a new one. My mom has a Black Lifeproof case she wants to give me. She uses the blue Otterbox. I was wondering if i could trade in the black Lifeproof, for a pink one! The black one is brand new, only used for ike a month. My new phone will be here in a week! Please help!
