My account has two associated iPhone telephone nos, personal and business. Right now my iPad has my business cell associated with iMessage and FaceTime (not sure how that came to be). How do I switch it to my personal cell (or both)? FYI iMessage and FaceTime are activated on activated and working on my persoanl iPhone.

Thanks! This solved my question. I had the same problem.
For any others with this issue, just go to the iPhone that you want to use on your iPad and go to settings> send receive at the top it will ask to add this phone to your Apple ID account. Now from my iPad I can choose both iPhones and email addresses.

The only and easiest way is
1-Go to Setting - Switch off the Face Time
2-Go to Settig - Switch off the iMessage
3-Go to Setting - General Settings- Reset Network Settings
4 - Go to Setting Switch on FaceTime - Sign in with your existing Apple / iCloud ID
You can see the Mobile number is changed now.
