Mac Randomly reboots

Mac Rendomly reboots and I get a message saying there wasa problem or what not after reboot and to press a key to continue.

I have applied the instructions on this site (http://www.midnightryder.com/how-to-fix-a-randomly-rebooting-mac-os-x-10-8-mount ain-lion/) and also have rebooted (Cmd + R) and did a repair of the disk and disk permissions. However if none of these resolve the issue perhaps I should re-install Mountain Lion. I am not sure if this is a hardware or software problem. I guess I could also try booting into the Apple hardware test CD, but many hardware issues are not detected by that CD. Anyone else have this problem and what solved it?

iPhone 4S, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

It boils down to you knowing what software you install and where to find the uninstaller.

The uninstaller should be on the same installer .dmg, but it could actually be installed by the installer into some directory. Or, you may have to download it from the website of the developer.

Bottom line, you shouldn't have to finds those files; just uninstall the program you. Installed.

That will not normally delete the items that are launching at boot or login.

I looked on his web page and didn't find any obvious instructions on how to uninstall.

That would be the only reason I need to decide to never use his products.

I finally dug it out, here: http://www.bresink.com/osx/216202/Docs-en/faq.html

It's at the bottom of the page.

I'm not sure if it is the same program, but it is likely the same location/instructions.

Latest Kernel Panic. NOTE I removed the RIM and bresink driver you mentioned. I am wondering if this is a hardware issue. Apple does not make stuff to last anymore and like my last portable I am just beyond the warranty and it would not surprise me if it will fail like my iBook did. I wonder if I should re-install Mountain Lion. NOTE I have yet to experience a random reboot in SAFE MODE or Windows mode.

I am not doing that as it may cause more problems. There are lots of bad advice out there on these forums and this is probably one of them. What I did do was the following.

Reset PRAM and SMC

Ran a detailed RAM tester aplication

I am about to boot into the Apple hardware test and run the advanced test. However my past experience as discoverd that the Apple hardware test is a piece of junk at finding problems.

I have no Firewire drvers and nothing was attached to the Mac so not sure what you are reading. What I may have to do is to install Mac OSX on my USB hard drive and boot into that to isolate the problem.
