I need to connect an iPod with lightning connector to a dock with lightning connector. The problem is that I have a case on the iPod that prevents connection. The easy solution would be a lightning male to female cable. As far as I can tell this does not exist. Any ideas on this?

I've been trying to find a simple male to female lightning adapter for some time as well, and I can only find a straight one.
There are right angle cables, but they end with USB port on the other side, though.

I have the same problem. I want to use Shure MV88 micro on a iPhone 7 with a protection case. After some research it seems NIUBEE 2nd Lightning Extender Dock is a good choice. I ordered it now. It would be good if Apple offers a good extension in their store!
I have the Shure MV88 as well. Did the NIUBEE work or was there another one you found that worked for you? I'm trying to do get better audio for some film projects I'm doing and I don't feel comfortable having my phone outside a case when out filming.

Sorry I need help,I have a dock for my iPad mini but my iPad won't fit into the dock with its case in.So I am look impinge for an extension adapter,from lighting to lightning.It must not be a cable just a small adapter.Can anybody please help.
I called Apple and spoke with them and they said "you have to remove the case and we dont make such a cable!" That is such a BS excuse. So make one Apple (or Belkin or china!)
