Lightning Male to Female Cable

I haven't tried this cable but it should work. The MFi/lightning certification is for a cable that connects to USB or does something similarly transformative Here, the cable is simply an extension - imagine that it is just s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g out the contacts on the lightning connector. So it is just pure wire, no conversion or similar that would require the lightning chip to confirm compliance. My biggest issue is that, for what is really a simple piece of wire, the price is outrageous.

I bought one and it doesn't work. It seems the entire cable has to be MFi certified.

Reading through this thread, it's not clear to me which different cables people have tried.
Has anyone tried the FastTech cable yet? If so, does it work for more than charging? I need a Male-to-Female Lightning extension for a SmartCard reader accessory that was, unfortunately made to sit flush against the iPhone when plugged in. Such a terrible design flaw on their part, but now I'm left searching.

The CableJig one looks like a quality cable, but I'm afraid $26 for a 2-foot-long extension is just too steep for me.

I bought the FastTech cable and it has limited functionality. I almost always got the message that the cable was not Apple-certified and that it wouldn't necessarily work with my iPhone (iPhone 6). I could not successfully connect my external device to work with it. (At least I only wasted ~$5)

I am looking for the exact opposite of the standard Lightning cable, female on both ends, and MFi certified.

This one is sold out and I doubt it is MFi-C.

I'm looking for something simple to that aswell. A lightning->lightning with a male right angle. Preferably an adapter so I can use it with my case.
