MacBook Pro won't respond to power button

Earlier today when I was reading Lifehacker, my MBP just shut down. I also noticed that my power cord also doesn't work. When it shut off it was at 99% full.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 2.9 GHz Intel core i7, 8GB RAM
