Auto adjust iPhone ringer volume.

I'm looking for an app that will automatically adjust my iPhone ringer volume depending on either a set schedule or by location. For example, I'd like it quiet when I'm at work and louder outside of those hours. I used ot have an app for this on my Balckberry a few years ago and am looking for something similar for the iPhone. Any suggestions?

Because I work in a closely packed, open plan office and I'd rather this happen automatically rather than having to remember to do it every day and then remember to turn it back up when I leave work. Something as basic as this should be able to be done automatically either following a set schedule or by using location awareness, it's an iPhone, not a 1990's flip phone after all.

The fact that it's "easy" to change ringer volume is an argument to make it automatable. Particularly with the number of workplaces, and now places out side of work that require you to silence your phone (my wife the 1st grade teacher is looking for her silenced phone right now) it makes no sense at all not to let that be set by clock time or a timer. Just left feedback under iphone at the link posted here. Thanks for leaving that.

Additionally, apps like Locale did far more than just adjusting ring tones. It would mute your phone when it detected a meeting on your calendar and even send an automatic reply via SMS that stated you're in a meeting. It would do the same thing if bluetooth was connected. You could set up an automated message that read something like, "Driving: I will reply to your text message when I can do so safely." There were tones of other triggers you could set and then define actions to perform based on the Trigger and Condition.

I really miss that app. I would pay REALLY GOOD MONEY for one like this on iPhone.

I just switched to an iPhone 6Plus from my Samsung Galaxy. I greatly miss an app I had that allowed me to set up Profiles and scheduling switching between them.

As an example, I set up an OFFICE profile that would ring quietly when in the office and a simple ding when a text came in.I had a LOUD profile that I would use when outdoor, a NIGHT profile, and a NORMAL profile. It was awesome. I also had it set to automatically switch profiles at certain times of the day. So if I was outside and had manually set the profile to LOUD, at midnight it would return it to NORMAL and then at 8AM go to OFFICE. I could even schedule based upon the day of the week so on weekends it never went into OFFICE mode. The key here is that each profile had different settings for ringer, text, email, meeting notification, etc.

Sorely miss this functionality. I would love this functionality even if I couldn't get the scheduler part.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am also a recent convert to iPhone from Samsung and this is one of my main sources of pain. I have been looking for an app that would automatically mute my phone when at work and at church based on location. I did find the AutoSilent app through this post and I just downloaded it and it appears to do what I want. I will try to provide an update on the app after I've had some time to use it.

The weakness of the DND settings is that it only provides the ability to set 1 time period for DND. If it at least provided the ability to set multiple time periods it would be much more helpful.

Nor is hard to use the side control and put your phone on vibrate, and then when needed put it back to ringer.

I do with my phone when I'm at work.

Auto adjust iPhone ringer volume.
