What can I do when my MacBook Pro´s AirPort say: Wi-Fi: no hardware installed
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)
Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hello there JLpoo,
I have a couple of resources that may be able to help in this situation.
First I recommend resetting your computers System Management Controler, or SMC using this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964.
This section specifically-
Resetting the SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own
Note: Portable computers that have a battery you should not remove on your own include MacBook Pro (Early 2009) and later, all models of MacBook Air, and MacBook (Late 2009).
Also the computer has a built in Hardware test you can use. The article for that is named OS X Mountain Lion: Use Apple Hardware Test found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11342, to help determine if you have a hardware issue.
Cheers,
Sterling
