The change is due to a change in the 'Appearance' setting ('Blue' has likely been changed to 'Graphite') in the General pane of your System Preferences.
This article provides detailed steps and information for getting there.

- From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
- Choose View > General.
To change the colors of the window elements from the default blue appearance, you can choose Graphite from the Appearance pop-up menu to make OS X take on a cool, monochromatic graphite color.

All of a sudden, when I have some items/pages/websites open on my mac, some of the minimize buttons have changed from yellow to grey and cannot be used. This doesn't happen on all open items. Any ideas?
