I am laughing so hard, thought this was a joke but there were enough positive comments for me to try it. Gave the back of my ipad a sharp whack with the bottom of my palm and screen came back to life. This is an original first gen ipad too so I was fully prepared to accept that it had finally just given up. Thanks so much dude
