Can't eject without admin password - 10.8.3

We have 7 computer labs (with ~16 iMacs in each), with the same image deployed on all iMacs and similar Work Group Manager settings for all labs.


The iMacs were imaged several months ago, and we recently have had a problem in 2 of the 7 labs with the computers asking for the Admin password to eject CDs or External Drives of any kind.


We are in an academic setting, in the middle of a term, so reimaging is not a viable option. I have been unable to fix the issue or find an alternative solution online, and wanted to know if any one has had the same problem and/or knows a solution?
