Will "Pages for iOS" work on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion?

I have an iPhone 5 and MacBook Pro (Early 2011) with Mac OS X 10.7.4. I have iCloud set up on both iPhone and MacBook.

I also have Pages '09 on my Mac.

I would like to buy Pages for iOS app, and I was wondering whether I will be able to sync documents made on Pages '09 on my Mac to the Pages for iOS on my iPhone (and also vice versa)? Or does this only work with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion?

Thanks for the help!

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.3

You should be able to sync via icloud between pages on your mac and pages on iOS. See Apple - iCloud - Keep your documents up to date everywhere.
