I want to write a script or Automator workflow/app that automatically emails a random shortcut of the day to three recipients. The source is from an Excel spreadsheet. One column is the shortcut, and the second column is the definition. Anyone have similar experience and know that this would work?

So doing a little research I ended up trying the following right as you responded:


set theFolder to "/Applications/AppleScripts Shortcuts of the Day/"

set commandFile to (POSIX file theFolder as text) & "Logic Pro 9 Command Keys Spreadsheet For AppleScripts.numbers"




Should this not be used for reasons unknown to my limited knowledge?
