my macbook 13 inch says it is a 15 inch, how to change properly?
since i got osx istalled via an usb my macbook thinks that it is an 15 inch. while it is a 13 inch.
i tried to reboot by shuting of my macbook. restarting it again while holding alt. and reinstalling osx via internet download.
but nothing really changed. what to do now?

Believe me it's a 13' inch.
I bought it new, but had some problems with it so osx was reinstalled and now it says it is a 15' inch.
the problem is the wrong software. I need to erase my hard disk: macintosh
and reinstall the whole system cause via the way i described it still says it is a 15 inch because the software isn't the right one. but for the measuring here a new pic along with my hand.
i hope this is convincing enough.
There was made a mistake during a reperation. with reinstalling the software they typed in the wrong serial number (that of a 15inch) sooooo i brought it back to the same place they reinstalled everything and this time without the typo and the problem was solved. p.s. even apple care didn't knew this I litteraly got called 8 times with eacg time another guy/method or idea. after 8 times and higher and smarter persons they found out! 😝
they even took over my mac from a distance but after almost half an our couldn't find ****.
but on the end problem solved, thanks to you all!
Post a picture of your MBP w/a measuring tape confirming it's a 13" along w/a screen shot of System Preferences confirming it's stating 15"
You didn't post a pic confirming that you screen is actully 13." Do you have a measuring tape and or a ruler? Place the tape or ruler diagonally across the screen.
Yes, your 2nd pic is very convincing. Strongly suggest that you call AppleCare ASAP!! You are still under warranty.
Your problem is unique. You're under warranty. Let Apple deal w/it. Besides, if you screw up, your warranty will be voided.

Change the system language to English temporarily and test.
The menus are in English, I believe.
