While reading some detailed articles on the web in Safari,I face a lot of problem.The screen goes dim and then turns off.
Is there any way by which I can program my mac in such a way that it automatically detects that I am reading some article and the screen doesn't off or go dim ??

Try this:
Go to System Preferences --> Desktop and Screen Saver -->Hot Corners....and select a corner of your screen where, if you put your mouse there, your screen saver won't kick in.
Is there any software which can detect when a person is reading something and doesn't put the display to sleep or dim mode ?
As far as your suggestion is concerned,it is also within a time bracket which oversees when to turn off or dim the display
I don't know of any software that detects when you're reading the screen - that's not to say some doesn't exist.
I'm sure there used to be an option to elect whether the screen should dim before sleeping/screen saving, but I can't actually find it. I'm on an iMac, maybe it's laptop specific and I haven't got one any more to check.
At least if it dims first you've got the chance to touch a key/mouse/trackpad to prevent it sleeping.
Have you tried adjusting the display sleep preferences in System Preferences>Energy Saver?
