Missing gifs in Slideshow

Hi,

Just exported my site onto a folder and posted to my web server. In the apache error log, I've noticed quite a few errors about missing gifs.

[Thu Jun 01 08:26:33 2006] [error] [client 192.168.1.18] File does not exist: /var/www/html/SlideShow assets/beveltop.gif, referer: http://rose/SlideShow_assets/SlideShow.html?lang=en

Check both the origianl export dir and the web site dir, and these files are really not there. Anyone seen this?

thanks

M

Actually, they are not transparent images, and simply ignoring the problem will not stop the errors from showing in your web log.

You can easily recreate the missing .gif files. In the case of each missing file, find the corresponding image file (for example, bevel_bot.gif for the missing bevel_top.gif), open the file in a graphics editor and rotate the image 180 degrees, then save as the missing file.

Step be step instructions for the missing bevel_top.gif:

1. Open bevel_bot.gif in an editor
2. Save as bevel_top.gif
3. Rotate the image 180 degrees
4. Save

Repeat for bevel_l.gif, using bevel_r.gif
