USB ports not working in bootcamp

Anyone know how to correct this problem, successfully loaded bootcamp, windows 7 to my Late 2012 Imac, and the USB3 ports do not work, they do not power or recognise any external drives plug into them.

I am having the same problem on a 2012 rMBP 15". It starts right after having installed the Bootcamp drivers downloaded using the Bootcamp assistant on a thumb drive. The lights on my Logitech USB mouse just die after the next reboot and so does my thumb drive.

I have been reading into this matter and some people suggest unloading / uninstalling the USB drivers using Device Manager but that only seems to disable my MacBook's trackpad and keyboard so that is of no use 😟

I have the same problem on my 2013 MBA 13". Everything worked fine with the installed '09 Win7 Ultimate, but after many updates, including IE 10 and service pack 1, both USB ports do not work. Tried with USB 2.0 memory sticks, USB 3 drive, USB mouse and an USB joystick, but none of these were recognized. Everything look ok in Dievice Manager. An the other hand, my 2010 IMac 27" works fine with the same Win7 image, so do we have an unresolved MBA problem?

Thank you, obyone61! The link to the Intel download center was a gift to us all, at least all of us who have had the problem with USB ports and divices not being recognized by Windows 7 on Macs with USB 3.0 ports, such as my late 2012 27" iMac.

I followed the link, downloaded and ran the installer, rebooted and have working USB ports, hubs, mice, etc. in Windows 7. Lovely! Kudos to you! I 🙂!
