Aperture 3.4.4 and the new 1Tb Flickr account

Hi,

I have signed for a new1Tb free Flickr account that allows uploading full size photos.

When I try to publish to Flickr from my Aperture library it gives me only the option of uploading a "Web size" copy, the full size option is grayed and says "(pro only)".

Apple should update Aperture to allow everybody to upload full size photos, I expect it soon.

On the other hand, is there a limit on the size of a Flickr set Aperture can create? I think it used to be a limit of 500 photos per set and I had to split my albums when I tried this feature some time ago.

Hi,

The link only states what I said before, I can upload "original size" photos up to 200Mb using their Uploadr, but nothing about my problem with Aperture. Aperture doesn't allow me, as a non-pro Flickr user, to upload "original size" photos.

It doesn't talk about my second question neither. I think it was an Aperture limit not a Flickr limit.

And I think it's not their fault (Flickr), I suppose Aperture grays out the option to upload full size when Flickr informs it that our account is not a pro account (wich is true). Then it's Apple who has to change Aperture to use a different API or to never gray out the size options in order to agree with the new Flickr policy.

I informed Apple of this problem through this page http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html altough I suppose they already know... and my previous bug reports (more than one year ago) where ignored 😟
